Somatic Movement, as a practice is a beneficial, calming, and centering experience for the body, mind, and soul. Like yoga, it is also so much more than the physical experiences are held deep in the subconscious and in the body tissues. Beginning a Somatic practice includes integrating yoga philosophy and study of Self with gentle and slow movements that ride on the breath, so pranayama, mudras, and mantras integrate in this practice to create a perspective of practice united with your daily life. Bhakti Somatic Movement adds the quality of internal devotion and enlivens your practice to a way of being – on and off the mat bringing you into your day in harmony and tranquility.
